Say hello to your little friend. Our new Tethrd One Climbing Stick carry clip. This clip uses the holes your existing alignment pins are in. The clip provides a secure and functional way to have as many sticks as you like clipped together to make that trip into the woods much more satisfying.
 
Gen1: Simply drive out or drill out the existing black top pins and snap the clip on to the front of the pole (towards the tree) with the offset facing up.

Gen 2 and 3: Remove the screws holding in the newer style orange pins and snap the clip on to the front of the pole (towards the tree) with the offset facing up. *Suggestion: To make the sticks easier to separate put the top (shorter) orange pins on the bottom and remove the longer orange stock bottom pins.
 
Use a good Phillips head bit or screwdriver to tighten the black oxidized screws. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN! ASA is plastic after all, and it will strip out the printed threads. The screws are not bearing the weight with this design. Most of the weight is being handled by the clip going around the pole and the screws are acting as a lock preventing the clip from spreading. So making the screws good and snug is good enough.
 
The clip itself is made out of Polymaker Polylite ASA. Built to be outside in the sun and snow without showing signs of wear. The clip has been tested with up to 4 sticks covered in Stealth Wrap with the bottom pins intact. To make sure even the most vigorous shaking by climbing or by hand cannot separate them.
